Marlon Pack has been named The News/Sports Mail Player of the Season.
He follows in the footsteps of Colby Bishop, who lifted the trophy at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
Pompey’s skipper was also voted Player of the Season by guests at the club’s awards dinner earlier in the week.
And the midfielder was also named in the League One Team of the Season at last Sunday’s EFL Awards in London.
Pack was presented with his latest trophy by Jordan Cross from The News on the Fratton Park pitch after receiving the most votes from readers of our local newspaper.
Previous winners of the award include Alan Knight, Noel Blake, Guy Whittingham, Alan McLoughlin, Peter Crouch, Arjan de Zeeuw, David James, Glen Johnson, Enda Stevens and Matt Clarke.
Pack was also named Player of the Season by 11 different supporter groups, with Shaughnessy and Paddy Lane collecting one trophy each.
